Recent Play

Today

I had a happy time in the park this morning! Running with slow Walk Human. So many smells. Delicious odors of coyote poop. No leash. Left the park through the top exit that I'd never smelled or seen before. Met Cusco Friend. Cusco Friend started out snarling and barking at me, which was scary, but he had his human on a leash so I just ran away and then came back and played at him until he started playing with me. He was good at wrapping his human up with the leash! Walk Human did blah blah with his human.

She said they named him Cusco because they were in Cusco, Peru when they first saw his picture, I think? Something like that.

Humans do too much blah blah, not enough playing.

Walk Human gave me a new toy! It wobbles around and drops out treats. Sometimes I can get it spinning and it throws a bunch around. I can just barely get the top in my mouth to carry it around. See my first time playing. Even when it stops dropping treats, it is fun to play with.

Yesterday

Walk Human and Play Human left Warm Place to go into World, but then they took me to Puke Machine. I tried to tell them that World was better and we should go for a walk, but humans are buttheads and don't listen. There was no reasoning with them, so I got into Puke Machine. But it was happy time! Puke Machine ride was very short, and when I got out we were at Lulu Friend place! I talked to Walk Friend to tell him where to go, but he is dumb so it took a while for him to open door and I talked to him the whole time. I got to spend 3 hours in Lulu Friend's Warm Place. Lulu showed me how she jumps on couch, but couch is not my place so I did not go. So much fun!

Yesteryesterday

Play Human and Walk Human went with me in Puke Machine to green running place. I kept Walk Human on leash for most of the time. We walked up steep hill, then I had Walk Human take off leash and got to meet lots of other humans. There were so many I ran around between them in circles! I couldn't decide who to meet, so I kept going from one to the next. My favorite was Sitting Human because she let me lick her ears.

After we went down from high place to green running place, I had a big dog party! Big White Friend was happy I was   happy we played lots. Big White Friend ran me over, which wasn't so fun, but it was ok we kept playing. Tiny White Friend was boring, she just wanted to be with Walk Human (I think she smelled treat bag). Roly Poly Friend was much fun! I played and played with him, then played more. He told me when he didn't want to play, but I played anyway, just a little further away when he was saying no play. I play with Roly Poly Friend even when he doesn't play with me. And Roly Poly Friend did like to play, just not quite as much as I like to play.

Yestestday

Face Human and Food Human took me to Friend Only Friend's Warm Place. We did good play, then Walk Human came and picked me up. Face Human and Food Human have been hiding since then.

Our friends Ed and Julia have a rescue dog who is very reactive to other people but does fine with dogs.

Face Human

Walk Human and Play Human keep doing stupid human things, so I have been spending more time by myself in the World. Walk Human doesn't give as good of food as Food Human, but I'm eating lots of Boring Food. Play Human doesn't let me lick as much as Face Human, but is good for play fights.

Walk Human gave me Digging Toy. I can smell treats and dig dig dig until I can get to them. Stupid thing requires lots of digging. I'm good digger, but I have to give up and go at it from a different direction sometimes. Treats seem to come then, but I know good digging so mostly I do that.

Walk Human is lazy. He doesn't let me out of Cozy Den until World morning smells have mostly turned into day smells. He does let me out when I tell him to, but I'm ok in Cozy Den so I haven't been telling him much.

Play Human is even worse. Walk Human and I go for long walk, then I nap for a while, and finally Walk Human lets me wake up Play Human after half the day is already gone. Humans need better priorities. Play Human does good play though.

It's not nap time and not food time, so... it's play time!
